Many of our guests find us from outside Memphis due to Guy Fieri's visit and his inclusion on his show, Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. We were also included in the Food Network's show, The Best Thing I Ever Ate. As well, we were featured in his book, Road Trip. Check out the videos of his visit on YouTube. You may purchase the book in the store. We are attempting to have him return in 2020 to celebrate his 10th anniversary of visiting Tom's and Adam's 25th year of owning Tom's Barbecue.

My 5 stars aren't just for the food, it's for the customer service by the owner, too. When was the building built? The original building was built in 1950 by the Taylors as a grocery store/deli and gas station.
Who is Tom? Tom Stergios originated Tom's Barbecue and Deli. He grew up in Greece, bought Taylor's Grocery in 1982, and began Tom's Barbecue and Deli.
When did Adam purchase Tom's? 1995 after moving from Chicago.
When did Guy Fieri visit? He came in 2010; his visit and shows, (Diners, Drive Ins and Dives and The Best Thing I ever Ate) still create an enormous popularity for Tom's on YouTube!
